SAT FUN: Curious and Confused Jay (Cyanocitta cristata)

I put peanut butter on the branches of this tree for the small birds. But the jays usually get most of it. They watch for me to come out with it. This day, I put peanut butter out, but on the underside of the branches. This jay watched me, and flew down as soon as I stepped away from the tree. But from where he was, he couldn't see any peanut butter. It was very funny to watch him cock his head this way and that trying to find it but not being able to. Of course, being a jay, it didn't take him long to figure things out.
