Just checking (Dendrocopos major)

Most of the pictures of this guy he was hidden behind the trunk, as is their usual way LOL.... just this one image he turned his head like this, as if he was checking to make sure no-one else was around.

I say 'he', but there wasn't one image good enough to check on whether it was a male or female. But I'm not complaining, I don't get to see these at home.
