cinereous vulture (aegypius monachus)

one of the definitions of cinereous is " a grey colour tinged with coppery brown". When these vultures are seen against strong sunlight, a coppery brown colour is obvious, I don't know whether this is related, but cinereous vulture is certainly more adapted than the older name black vulture.
