One of two that I was very happy with (Haliaeetus leucocephalus)

Took a trip to a lake I hadn't been to for awhile and was delighted to see quite a few Bald Eagles. Nice to know there is an increase in their population and are of least concern regarding their population

A superbly detailed in flight shot and lighting KC, lovely job and many tfs.
 
Good one, KC; great bird and a great in-flight pose too. I doubt you'll get a better pic of a Bald Eagle in flight
