Sooty-headed bulbul (Pycnonotus aurigaster)

very similar in behavior to our White skeptical bulbul.

common in Java, but less common in Bali.

Doux, this is one awesome closeup image of this aptly named Bulbul! So much beautiful detail in this fabulous image girl friend.

Oh my, how pretty this bulbul is Doux.... not a species we see coming in too often!!

This one will be a different subspecies to the one in The Opus, so I'll add your picture there shortly. I need to find out which subspecies it is, with the yellow vent area.
