Eastern Curlew
This bird was satellite tracked this year . Leaving Wellington Point 8th Mar to the breeding grounds in S . Russia . Leaving early for the return journey on 4th June making it's way to the Yellow Sea near Rudong China. Leaving there on 26th July and getting back to Wellington Point 3rd Aug . Around 17000 klm all up .

It is amazing you can track them this way!
Where is the GPS tracker on it? Or was it installed on one of them, not necessarily this one?
