Lifer two and a half
.... why a half, well, the White Wagtail was a sort of half tick as we get the Pied subspecies here, so how do you count it LOL

Also..... many years ago on Fair Isle, I'd seen a White-spotted Bluethroat, but in hand and I made a right mess of the pictures!

Did a bit better with this one.

It was a very long day for us; a beautiful drive south through the mountains and then a walk across the moor to an elevated hide where we nibbled our lunch.

Sadly I had a hiccup with my camera and all the morning pictures somehow got deleted from the card, but I wasn't to know that until we were on the way back and WOWSER.... this wee beauty popped up.

We then saw quite a few of them.... where had they been on our way out I wonder.

Target two and I'd only been there three days LOL

Good bird...Congrats on your newbie Delia...Pied Wagtail is a Pied Wagtail to me.

Congratulations on your lifer, Delia. A super capture of this bluethroat. It didn't seem shy at all, showing well on top of this post.
