Sleeping Koala
These animals are very rarely seen in our area and are disappearing all over the country,mainly due to destruction of their habitat.They sleep for 18-22 hours a day,conserving energy,which is required for their digestion of eucalypt leaves.

such a sweet-looking teddy-bear!!! unfortunately I never managed to see one of them in the wild. superb photo, many tfs!!!
 
Guess whole Australia loves this unique and wonderful/lazy (LOL) animal.
Difficult environments (eucalyptus, urbanization, climate).
