Horned Screamer
Horned Screamer (Anhima cornuta) with its wing spurs and thin white horn showing. Sexes similar.
Habitat
Tropical lowland rainforest, riverine floodplain forest around an oxbow lake at 256 m (840 ft) elevation.
Location
Cocha Blanco just off Ro Madre de Dios south of Manu Lodge, Madre de Dios Department, Per.

marvelous photo, Stanley!!! when you see these heavily-built birds walking, you can hardly imagine they manage to fly. superb inflight shot, perfect timing, top marks, many tfs!!!
