Starling Fledglings (Sturnus vulgaris)

First youngster showed up yesterday... five days earlier than last year. Not great light, but showing what they do as soon as they arrive: head for the bird baths or a muddy puddle. Which means I'm on Cat-watch until the fledglings are able to fly when wet (There was nine hiding huddled-up soaking wet under a bush a while ago, all have made it to one of the safe(ish) perches that I position in the garden - some perches are like ladders made of twigs that they can clamber up to get to one of the trees/bushes... they often only climb half way and refuse to take the last few steps to relative safety... no idea why.)

Aaaaw!!! Sweet for now, aren't they Chris and actually rather attractive too.

A super picture you've taken of this pair of twins, very well done my friend.

I've had a baby House Sparrow, but nothing else as yet.
