Song sparrow in the brush (Melospiza melodia)

This little guy was hopping around the brush just before sunset. I had to manual focus to get the eye, then autofocus was able to figure out what to do.

I did a very close crop to see how the 60MP Sony A7RIV holds up. Looks pretty darn good.

Sony A7RIV, 400mm f/2.8, 1.4x TC, Godox AD200Pro TTL remote head on camera. Handheld 1/250, f/4, ISO 1000. This is a 3.6x crop (60 MP to 4.8MP) for effective focal length 2047mm.
