Silly me

I need to start keeping a notebook on my walks, with sketches and names and other info. Now I don't remember the name of this tree or what it was that made it the first tree to recover from ... what? flooding? fire? Probably flooding. Oh well. Certainly was pretty!

It is pretty, Ann! I kept a notebook on our New England holiday so I would remember where each photo was taken and info about each location, and I am very glad I did!

Lovely picture Doc! In South Texas it goes by the common name of Retama (Parksinsonia aculeata). As you can image it goes by a lot of different common names. TFS!
