A battle
.. for supremacy I guess.

I was so hoping a Lace Monitor would appear again and sure enough one arrived. Had a drink and swam around in the waterhole.

Suddenly Hans and I noticed another, larger, one appearing stage left! Gawd now what!!!

The first one was still in the water but climbing out. Then started sniffing the air before scrambling out of the water.

No Two hadn't got his wind yet but very soon did. No One scarpered off towards the trees with No Two in hot pursuit.... just shot straight over the water!! LOL

I'm not too sure if he actually caught up the the first one but shortly after he returned and had a drink himself.

Quite an entertaining couple of minutes that.

Wow. Excellent shot of a fascinating and (having just checked Wiki) rather a formidable one. It would make short work of a Grey Squirrel from Streatham, that's for sure ;)
