On the way home we callend in at the town of Black Butt, as Hans had heard whispers of a Red-rumped Parrots there.

We found the female in a nest box at the Railway Museum, where there's also a museum display for Roy Emerson, the ex-tennis player.

Unfortunately she wouldn't leave the nest, and he didn't appear so no pics.

However, Hans found a new friend there and in chatting to him heard about some good birds seen at a farm in the area, but the lady wouldn't be back for a bit, so we went and had a cuppie before setting off to find her house.

When we turned up, she still wasn't there. Hans got talking to the husband and a contractor, while I busied myself with taking some pictures... managed to get one of this wee Willie-wagtail in the long grass (bit distant unfortunately).
