Spring memories 2 - pair bonding (Chloris chloris)

I took a slightly different route down to the river that day and chanced across this pair of Greenfinches sharing a meal. This is shot 3 from a series of 4. In the first shot they're calling out a greeting to one another, the female in begging posture, fluttering her wings. Shots 2 and 3 are the food exchange. In shot 4 he's coughed up another seed and is holding it in his bill ready for another food exchange.
