Bullock's Oriole (Icterus bullockii)

I've long wanted to digiscope one of these successfully, and had few opportunities until my recent trip to eastern Oregon. It just took patience until he came in close for a perch, where he stayed a minute or so.
Habitat
lush desert oasis
Location
Fields, Oregon
Date taken
June 7, 2006
Scientific name
Icterus bullockii
Equipment used
Oly C-60z/Kowa 824/32x/SDA-100 mount-cable
Beautiful shot and patience is often all it takes to get a good shot! Or you just sit there and never get a shot but those are just disappointing days lol.

I had to check and we do have them in my area too but if I saw one it was only a flash at distance. Nice going and thanks.
