Sentinel in the mist (Corvus corone)

Thick morning fog was slow to clear that particular day, and this Carrion Crow perched on top of an aerial pole and surveyed the scene for some time.

A lovely image John - the hints of colour just visible through the gloom counterpoint the sentinel's jet black plumage wonderfully!

His feathers are a bit ruffled, so guess there was a bit of a breeze too.

WOW i really love this the composition and those oil like painting colors in the Bokeh.
