Magpie Inkcap (Coprinopsis picacea: Psathyrellaceae) Poisonous. This population was 13-18 cm (5.1-7.1 in) tall.
Habitat
Post Oak Savannah Vegetational Area. In clearing of Post Oak/Yaupon woods at ca. 75 m (246 ft) elevation.
Location
Lick Creek Park, College Station, Brazos County, Texas. USA.

Love mushrooms....shooting them and when it comes to eating them just prefer the usual ones that I am used to since childhood (which are available at the onset of monsoon). Superb post Stanley!!! Love the angle you shot it in!!!
