Ditch Jewel
Widespread in several Asian countries this male in Hong Kong is somewhat worn on the abdomen and has spider's web remnants on the wing tip! A denizen of ponds, sewage farms, ditches and other still and stagnant pools, (note its Latin name). It is a member of the huge Libellulidae family of Skimmers and Chasers.
