Ben More
We missed this view completely driving up (just shows, you should look behind you occasionally LOL).

The building is Craignish castle, and in the distance you can see Ben More on the Isle of Mull.

Referring back to yesterday's 'earthquake' image, I've found a link for anyone who is interested, which shows the geological fault lines which run across Scotland: http://academic.emporia.edu/aberjame/student/jones1/highweb.htm

The western end of the blue one is close to where I took that/these picture(s).

I live a little south of it, but have never felt any tremors. The town of Comrie, about 30-40 miles from me, has had regular tremors, but none that has damaged any buildings.
Location
Craignish Point, Oban, Scotland
Date taken

Lovely scene Delia, you should be making postcards! lol! Those brown patches on the shoulders and elbows (?) of the blue heron are part of it's costume, all great Blues have them. I found that out because I've photographed every Blue in HBSP! ;o) They are there all year round and you can always find one somewhere in the park. They each have a territory at least when the tide is low. Like the egrets!
