Grey Treepie (Dendrocitta formosae)

From afar it looked like a Rufous Treepie and my friend refused to even give it second look, given the fact that we were shooting into strong backlight....but I set about to shoot it as we had nothing to show after several hours of trekking in the forest...to my surprise this was a Grey Treepie and a lifer!!!

Congratulations on a fabulous lifer, Kishore ... superb shot as well ... tfs ...
I'll add it to the Opus as this is subspecies D. f. sarkari, not represented in the Article ...
