Over the reeds (Ardea cinerea)

Not far from where the Cormorants were sitting, spotted this Heron flying over the reed bed.

Not the best of flight images (even for me) but recognisable and I do like to record what I've seen there each visit.

a lovely fly by of this huge bird delia...i've got a nest next to the small pond and the young are about ready to leave anytime now...
