This was the moment of truth- when one of the two species you cycled an overall distance of 24 km at high speed springs up from the grass and starts hunting. This owl's hunting style reminded me of a hen harrier...

Thank you!! The SEO is present on the field right in front of the bridge over Burwell Lode. A visit is HIGHLY recommended if you want 100% success photographing the owl. They are much easier to view than the hen harriers. I would give a 65% chance of success for hen harrier pictures. 100% for the SEOs. I recommend all interested to take advantage before they leave!
