Puzzler
I woke up in my outback hotel room and found this Cockroach trying to complete my puzzle!!

Hans later told me that they are not native to Australia. Presumably they came off the early transport boats.

yikes! I've been lucky and never encountered cockroaches in my hotel room ... so far.

Thank God, I've never had to deal with these guys. This image shows just how big they are walking across that page.
 
They also love paper, Delia. Funny you mention this. I heard ants weren't here in North America until they came over by accident on the boats that we Americans and Canadians took to leave Europe.
 
Nice shot of this large cockroach, Delia! Not sure I'd have been relaxed enough to take it's picture.
