Shuswap Lake

Located in the Central South of BC, close to Salmon, this lake is a tourist attraction.
Stopped overnight by its side in May 2010 on the way to Banff. It is the breeding ground for Western Grebes. In that afternoon, besides the Western Grebe and one Clarke's Grebe, I also saw yellow warblers, Common yellowthroat, yellow-headed Blackbird and some commoner ones including black-capped chickadee and European starling, all by the lake side.
There are several post on which Ospreys have their nests there.
