Siberian Jay in the vicinity of Lake Baikal (Perisoreus infaustus)

  • Gleb Berloff
This is one of the pictures I took 2 years ago when visiting Lake Baikal. The Siberian jay is an elusive bird which is difficult to see, but also readily observes people from the shadows of the forest. This one visited me as I was sitting on the banks of a small river.

A great spot for you lad - very well done. Can't have been easy to see him at all.
