We're going through 500gm raw sugar in nectar in two feeders by 2pm - mainly these delightful critters - maybe a flock or two of about 30-50 that divides into groups (families?) of about a dozen as they ebulliently take turns at the feeder - helped by about 8 - 12 tui and at least 3 pair bellbird. The odd sparrow checks it out as well. Fascinating behaviours, song and what extraordinary acrobatic flights.
