Siskin in the Alders (Carduelis spinus)

There were quite large flocks of these flying about at Minsmere yesterday. I found about 30 of them at the top of some alders but they wouldn't come any lower. This is the best shot I could get shooting into the sky against the light. Still, it's a first for me. Ron
