Siskin (Carduelis spinus)

Good day with Chris (uxu) yesterday. Lots of siskin feeding on the Alder trees, most of them on the very top branches. Hard to get any decent shots of them against the light, this one being the best of the bunch. Hope you did better Chris.

A cracking shot, pose and setting Pete, I only got a couple of usable shots of the Siskins but did better with the LTT's, a good day out and I reckon we walked quite a few miles from White Coppice to Brinscall.

A super picture you've got of this guy Pete - very well done laddie. I'm glad you enjoyed your day out with Chris... good to know someone is keeping him out of trouble;)
