Such beautiful little finches, and a fine shot of this one JJ. A perfect pose, excellent detail, and the streaking that, when you see one, makes you suddenly realise (with pleasure) that you're not looking at just another Greenfinch.

I've seen Siskins only occasionally over the years, but in the 1980s there were several in a small tree visible from my living room, so who knows what tomorrow may bring.
