A wonderful picture ScottSobel - a species we have hardly ever seen come into the Gallery. I think, too, this is a clearer image than the one currently on the Opus page, so I'll upload it there shortly.

Many thanks for sharing it with us lad, it is most appreciated.

Thank you for the compliment Delia. I don't think either of my images looks better than the one that's on the Opus page now. Together, my images and the one that is there now show interesting variation in the amount of rufous. Or, maybe it's the difference between flashlight and daylight.

Thanks lad. I did think to keep the other one on the page, but a smaller image underneath your own.

I just felt it was rather dark and didn't show much plumage detail, but possibly how they are seen in the Jungle!!

There could be quite a difference between daylight low in the forest and a bright white flashlight. I'm not sure. Do you think this photo with the tilted head is better than the one looking straight at the camera? I couldn't choose and posted both on my site.

Hi Scott... I'm back again!! Just to say that I've now added this image to the Opus article as well.

At last, I've got around to doing it.... had a lot of work on lately. sorry.
