Smoky Jungle Frog (Leptodactylus pentadactylus: Leptodactylidae) In Ecuador and I assume elsewhere in South America these frogs are known as the South American Bullfrog. These are large frogs having a snout-vent length of 17.6 cm (6.9 in)-18.0 cm (7.1 in). Adults devour anything that they can swallow. This one has three mosquitos feeding upon it. Above Anangua Lake, Napo Wildlife Center, Yasuni National Park, Orellna Province, Ecuador. Ecuadorian amazonian rainforest at ca. 200 m (656 ft) elevation.
