Snow Geese passing in review
Technically, this image is not of the quality I usually want in my keepers. However, given the circumstances, I did keep it.

It was a bitterly cold morning, just after sunrise when I noticed these geese approaching and thought they would pass in close proximity to the moon. I had only about five seconds to plant myself, bend over backwards almost 90 degrees, frame the shot and then take the image. In spite of repeated tries, this was the only one I got that I liked.

That's brilliant Donald.

I'm so glad you kept it and decided to share it with us.

Lovely idea and composition. Have you tried a bit more noise reduction on the sky and decreased exposure on the moon?

This is really an interesting photo Don. That moon looks wonderful with the geese.
Great job.
