Snow Geese
Snow Goose (Anser caerulescens caerulescens) The dark birds are the color morph of Snow Geese known as Blue Geese.
Habitat
Gulf Coast Prairies and Marshes Vegetational Area. Above a coastal prairie ca. 1 m (3.3 ft) elevation.
Location
Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge, Chambers County, Texas, USA.

:eek!: I'm guesstimating about a thousand birds just in this "slice" of what looks to have been a much larger flock. What a whoosh they must have made lifting up and flying by :eek!:
