Snowy Cotinga Male C-RICA SER 2
This small bird was high in a tree a great distance away, and even with the camera optics I used the photo had to be severely cropped, reducing photo sharpness and other qualities. The white bird was largely against a white sky, so I tried to orient my position to at least view the head of the bird against darker leaves. Despite poor photographic quality, I include the photo in this series because the species is infrequently seen by birders.

What a great picture you've taken of this continga Ronald. it's a pretty rare visitor to the Gallery and by far the best to come in so far.

Many thanks for sharing it with us - I'll upload it to Opus shortly.

Sounds like difficult conditions, Ronald, so a good result.
