Snowy Egret (Egretta thula subsp. thula) Photographed on Mustang Island, east of Corpus Christi, Nueces County, Texas, USA. Mustang Island is a 29 kilometer (18 mi) long barrier island and is representative of the Gulf Prairies and Marshes Vegetational Area. Its bordered on the west by Corpus Christi Bay and by the Gulf of Mexico on the east.
