Snowy Owl (Bubo scandiacus)

Two Snowy Owls (lifer #441), an adult at top left and a juvenile at bottom right, seen on the beach at Damon Point in Ocean Shores, Washington. In addition to these two birds, there were also two more (also an adult and a juvenile) wintering in the area, for a total of four Snowy Owls seen. My birder friends and I made a 10-hour drive through the night from northern California so we could see these birds at dawn.
