So close! (Troglodytes troglodytes)

This is how close the wren came as s/he dashed past me along the flower bed :eek!: S/he was right at my feet! I'd had to take the teleconverter off to get a clear shot, but luckily I'd already done that for the earlier shots when s/he was a bit further away in the flower bed but moving closer. I also had to be super-fast ... which I'm not. I'm amazed this turned out as well as it did. S/he was scuttling past at quite a pace :eek!:

What a thrilling experience Doc. Wonderful capture in all those dry leaves, bet there's some great bugs under those!

Gosh!! Very well done getting this one Ann... sounds like quite a tricky job.
 
three crackers ann this reminds me of me.one eye on my view finder and other on the bird not easy.many tfs.all the best margaret.
