Sobralia Orchid
Sobralia Orchid. Sobralia rosea: Orchidaceae The canes of this terrestrial orchid can grow to 3 m tall (9.8 ft) tall. The flowers are fragrant and ca. 12.7 cm (5 in) across. It was very common along mountain slopes along Loreto Road east of Narupa, Napo Province, Ecuador. Disturbed semi-deciduous foothill forest between 914-1,219 m (3,000 and 4,000 ft) elevation.
