Solider (Danaus eresimus: Nymphalidae) Another Monarch mimic with a wingspan of 7.0-9.5 cm (2.75-3.75 in). Photographed at Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge around the headquarters. Near Harlingen, Cameron County, Texas, USA. Mesquite woodland with mixed Tamaulipan scrub at ca. 7.6 m (25 ft) elevation.
