Sometimes it's just not fair
It was pouring with rain when we got to the Mause Feeders. There were some birds around stuffing their faces.

We struggled on filling the feeders right to the top, getting wetter and wetter, thinking of hot coffee in the car. Eventually we were done. Sat in the car, window open, camera ready, waiting for the hungry hordes to return (usually they're there before be even finish).

Not a sign of one. Nothing, zilch!

Why did we bother eh?

You gotta trick them, Delia. Get in the car, engines on, say good bye out loud so they can hear and start moving. After 30 seconds the place will be full. 😄

Bummer! and you worked so hard in the rain to get them filled all the way up, plus there were birds when you got there. That is definitely not fair. I hope the warm coffee was good! It looks like a marvelous feeding station. TFS D!
