Song Thrush
One of my rarer garden birds put in an appearance at the beginning of December.

Always a joy to see these guys.

I heard one singing its head off in some trees beside the Tesco car park the other day!

Lovely Mavis close-up Delia...Not seen many of these lately, lucky you.
Beautiful close up of this cute songster Delia!!! The only resident local thrush here..Blue Rock Thrush...is rarely spotted!! You seem to have better luck!!!
A wonderful capture of this songster, Delia, and one that looks so much like our Wood Thrush.
Gorgeous capture of this bright-eyed Mavis Delia! I love the splash of colour those clumps of moss provide, it really lifts the composition!
That's too long a Winter for me Delia, they can be sharp here but have the virtue of being short!

This is one neat closeup of this Song Thrush D. Sounds as though it was aptly named ;)
