Song
Song Sparrows, like Dark-eyed Juncos, are ubiquitous along the entire California coast, but with varied sub-species region by region. I'm not sure of the sub-species differences, however, so can't give you the trinomial Latin name.

How'd you know it's a Song Sparrow.... I don't see him singing;)
