South Western Carpet Python (Morelia imbricata)

Five minutes into a walk we came across this fellow slowly crossing our path. Slim but at least 1.5m long. Not knowing if he was venomous or not we gave it a wide berth. Thanks to Fast Snake Identification for the clarification.
Habitat
Wooded pasture
Location
Avon Valley, Western Australia
Date taken
18/10/2020
Scientific name
Morelia imbricata
Equipment used
Olympus OM D E-M1 Mk2 + Panasonic/Leica 100-400mm handheld
He sounds a big chap, David, and I dont blame you for giving him a wide berth!
