Southern Chinese Peacock
Southern Chinese Peacock (100-120mm).

I came across this big beauty while out birding at Sun Moon Lake with BFs Jeff Harding (Oregonian) yesterday.

Sorry, for falling behind on all your photos and not posting very many comments. I'm really snowed under with work at the moment. It was great having Jeff and his lovely wife Patricia here for three days and being able to get out and do some birding. Just a few more weeks of crazy work and I'll be back to normal.
