Open park with scattered pecan at ca. 151 m (495 ft) elevation.

Along Nolan Creek in Yeti Polk Park, Belton, Bell County, Texas, USA.

What a strange name choice for this beauty. Yes, its face is fuzzy, which I guess is like a dog (or pretty much any butterfly), but what dog has big green bug-eyes????
