Sparrowhawk female at it with dinner (Accipiter nisus)

The sparrowhawks were flying around today and perching in the worst spots. All the time, something would block the view or the sun would interfere. That was before I tracked the female to a nice perch in a tree. It was sitting and devouring a pigeon which it had caught, but still was hyperactive enough to be hopping around from time to time. The juveniles were everywhere, all over the place, practicing their flying
