Sparrowhawk

I was really surprised when I turn around to check the bird table, to see this beauty on the fence. I dont know how long it had been sitting there, but it only stayed long enough for me to take 4 quick photos. Hubby Ron is always telling me to keep my camera handy, and this time he didnt follow his own advice; and by the time he got his camera it few off :D
I did have a go at cropping out the line props but didnt like the results, I did remove them completely but it was noticeable on the edge of the feathers.

Brilliant close-up of this fabulous accipiter. Stunning! Three marvelous posts today Janet!!!

Great close-up and bird, Janet (Apologies if you already knew, but... Still in juvenile plumage, so a 2cy and possibly a male looking at hoe small the talons are)

Thank you all so much, and I wondered if it was a juvenile ChrisKten so now I've got this photo I should be able hopefully to tell the different next time :D
