Splish Splash, I Was Taking A Bath (Tringa semipalmata)

Taken at the Martin Luther King Jr. Regional Shoreline at about 10m.

Blew-out the highlights too much to use as separate, larger photos. But I loved the motion captures of this willet flailing around while bathing. So, collage time! Last photo (bottom right) is when he hopped off to a different spot to finish.

I'd love to catch a willet while in flight, they are quite a bit more striking when their wings are extended.

Enjoy!

LOL What great fun this Willet was having, wasn't he. You've caught the action beautifully Kevin. Four great images you've got there.

How do you do a compilation like that? I've tried, but make a complete mess of it.

A fabulous collage of this willet enjoying his bath, Kevin!
