These two Roseate Spoonbills were fighting in earnest, with the one on the right finally wringing the neck of the one on the left, causing him to beat a hasty retreat!
I cannot remember the title of the short story, but seem to remember one about a young boy that shoots a Spoonbill. It seems that he was very remorseful, and ashamed, if I remember correctly. I will have to do a little research now.
